Democrats Use Robb Elementary Tragedy To Push Gun Control
Democrats are consistently accused of standing on the graves of dead children in order to push a political agenda…
NBC News with Lester Holt recently posted a tweet that started off with these words” “the funerals in Buffalo aren’t even over yet, now more families are faced with the unthinkable”… Many leftists and Democrats took to Twitter to issue similar sentiments.
To Lester Holt and NBC, I say: the sun has not even set here, and you are already calling for gun control…
The tragedy which occurred during the early afternoon left 14 students and 1 teacher dead, with Governor Abbott reporting that the shooter, 18 year old Salvador Ramos, is also dead.
Texas officials claim that Ramos entered the school with a handgun and potentially a rifle, although the rifle cannot be confirmed at this time.
Here are statements from both Governor Gregg Abbott, as well as Democrats and leftists who have chosen to frame the tragedy as a gun control issue:
Directing the Texas flag be immediately lowered to half-staff statewide on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in memory of those who lost their lives in a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde. https://t.co/cKLXbPPgLw https://t.co/YWsIidOTAz

The shooting at Robb Elementary in Texas is a horror. My heart aches for the families devastated by this tragedy.
Children are dying, and we could do something about it. But the GOP won’t stand up to the gun lobby.
Shameful doesn’t begin to cover it.

The Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas is the 212th mass shooting of 2022. Today is the 144th day of 2022.
14 young children and 1 teacher gone. Just heartbreaking. Mass shootings are pure evil and not pro-life. We need better and stronger policies on gun access. https://t.co/57PZBZxbNz

What happened at Robb Elementary School in Texas is absolutely horrific. My heart breaks for the children and teacher who lost their lives, and families forever broken by this senseless mass shooting.
The need for gun control has never been clearer.

I am horrified and heart broken by the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Texas.
I am also angry. Angry that 14 children—14 innocent children—and their teacher lost their lives to gun violence that we have the power to do something about.
Enough is enough.
