Finally, we end with something that I think is just flat out cool….
I am not a “tree hugger” or “granola” type person at all.
Someone asked me recently if I would like to go camping, and I said no thank you, I prefer to sleep places where they put a mint on your pillow!
But a few years ago, I started studying up on “Grounding”.
Have you heard of it?
It’s the real deal.
And it’s not New-Age crap….it’s actually just something that really makes sense about the way God created the world.
God gave us skin that is basically a big giant solar panel to take in sunlight and supercharge us up!
And what do we do?
We wear hats and long sleeves and slather on toxic sunscreen.
Don’t do that!
But he also gave us something else.
He created soil and dirt and “Earth” that also has incredible energetic properties.
It’s why you “ground” electrical wires in your house.
Because the ground stabilizes and recharges you.
It’s why you feel supercharged when on vacation.
It’s much less about being “off work” and much more about how you’re typically barefoot on the beach and in direct contact with the Earth and grounding for multiple hours at a time, plus taking in a bunch of energizing sun!
But what do we do?
We wear rubber soled Nike shoes all day long and disconnect from the Earth — the power source.
I started taking time a few years ago to intentionally fit in at least 15 minutes of Grounding each day and it’s made a HUGE difference! I know it works. I also know sunlight works.
So I tell you all of that to tell you I just think this is really cool.
