NYC Plans to Drop Toddler Mask Mandate on April 4th

Published

NYC Mayor Eric Adams selected his target date to stop abusing New York City children under five-years-old.

April 4th, assuming COVID cases remain low.

The ‘science’ told Adams that toddlers have more protection in two weeks than right now.

Watch his announcement below:

The New York Post reported:

“If the numbers continue to show a low level of risk, masks will be optional for 2- to 4-year-old students in schools and day care,” he told reporters at City Hall. “We want to see our babies’ faces.”

“Now it’s time to peel back another layer.”

The announcement comes after earlier in March Adams removed the indoor face covering requirement for children in kindergarten through 12th grades, while maintaining it for early-education students and those in day care centers age 4 and under, because they are not yet eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Parents always had the power to remove the masks off their young children.

They didn’t need the mayor’s approval to let the kids breathe fresh air.

But pressure from angry parents has tilted Adams into finally lifting the mandate.

In related news, Mayor Adams made the hypocritical move to lift the NYC private sector COVID-19 jab mandate strictly for the city’s pro athletes.

Adams should expect further pushback to lift the mandates for ALL New Yorkers.
