Ponca City Now reported:
“It’s incredible to me that the sole focus of the current administration and the capitol S ‘Science’ is on a vaccine that isn’t quite as ‘safe and effective’ as they make it out to be,” Dahm said. “I believe we should focus on proven early illness treatments, such as Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, rather than continuing to pad the pockets of big pharma.”
Similar legislation has been filed in the state of Missouri.
KFOR added:
Both ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine have received support and criticism this past year, as many Americans see them as COVID-19 treatments and preventatives. However, federal and state health officials say neither drug is an approved COVID treatment or preventative, and both can potentially harm a person who takes either.
The patents for HCQ and ivermectin expired years ago, meaning there are no profits for Big Pharma when prescribing the off-label drugs.
As Truth Lion noted, a population-scale ivermectin study from Brazil including over 220,000 participants showed “significant reductions in COVID-19 infections, hospitalizations, and deaths.”
Ivermectin has shown tremendous real-world efficacy in other countries such as India and Japan.
Dr. Pierre Kory of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC) discussed early treatment protocols at Senator Ron Johnson’s COVID-19 ‘Second Opinion’ Panel:
