Report Reveals Trump Campaign Anonymously Donating Thousands of Meals to Hospitals Nationwide

While Democrats accuse the President of being publicity-hungry, a new report confirms that President Trump prefers to do good deeds behind closed doors.

A new report reveals that the Trump campaign has been donating thousands of meals anonymously to hospitals around the country.

So far, it's been confirmed that over a dozen hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Washington state, and Michigan have benefited from the campaign's anonymous orders.

The Trump re-election campaign anonymously called local restaurants to deliver food to hospitals so that doctors, nurses, and first responders are fed.

No one would have known about the Trump campaign's good deeds if it weren't for the leak.

More details below:

While Democrats and the media like to paint the president as heartless, the reality is that he truly puts America first.

These anonymous donations not only help the hospitals and healthcare workers... they also provide income for the local restaurants hurting from the pandemic.

Restaurants and small businesses are negatively impacted by everyone staying home and quarantining.

Fortunately, the Trump campaign is benefiting multiple camps by donating anonymous meals.

Fox News discovered the anonymous donations:

The Trump campaign has been donating meals to hospitals across the country to feed doctors, nurses and first responders on the front lines of the coronavirus battle, Fox News has learned.

Since last Thursday, President Trump’s reelection campaign has been calling up local restaurants and ordering large amounts of food to be delivered to more than a dozen hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Washington state and Michigan. The campaign has been placing these orders anonymously, but Fox News learned about the effort — and sources confirmed it.

One source told Fox News that the campaign was looking to not only express gratitude for first responders treating patients with COVID-19, but to support local restaurants.

“They’re doing it as a donor who cares,” one source told Fox News. “So nothing politically is tied to it. ... We’re just trying to, you know, show a thank you.”

“They’re trying to send things that are like, local restaurants that may need support [and] cool restaurant icons of the area that may need the business,” one source said.

The source told Fox News that the campaign has already spent tens of thousands of dollars on the effort, which they plan to expand in the coming days and weeks.

Fox News confirmed that as part of the donations, an anonymous individual placed a large order at Giovanni’s Italian Deli in Secaucus, N.J., to be delivered to Hudson Regional Hospital.

“They only told us their first name,” an employee of Giovanni’s told Fox News on Thursday. “They called us, and they had us donate meals for the nurses and doctors — an assortment of things, 40 platters of pasta, salads, sandwiches.”

Americans across the country have been putting politics aside to help their fellow neighbors.

Despite the leak, the campaign intends to continue placing orders to local restaurants where the pandemic is hitting hardest.

These restaurants and small businesses will also benefit from the coronavirus stimulus package.

Check out a video from the Chit Chat Diner below, which shows the prepared meals:

Restaurants in hard hit countries are filling orders to help feed health care workers.

One restaurant in New York City, Sauce Pizzeria, is reported to be making at least 400 pizzas per day to make sure that nurses, doctors, and medical staffers are fed.

Health care professionals are so overwhelmed that many find it difficult to find a spare moment to eat.

It is through volunteers and donors that we are able to come together as a nation to fight against the pandemic.

The Daily Wire has more details on the tends of thousands that the Trump campaign has spent to purchase meals:

The campaign had been making the orders anonymously until sources confirmed of the charitable operation with Fox News. One source said the effort was to kill two birds with one stone: support local restaurants while supplying medical workers with needed help. The campaign has already spent tens of thousands of dollars in the past few weeks, which they plan to continue to do in the coming days.

“They’re doing it as a donor who cares,” the source told the outlet. “So nothing politically is tied to it. … We’re just trying to, you know, show a thank you.”

“They’re trying to send things that are like, local restaurants that may need support [and] cool restaurant icons of the area that may need the business,” another source said.

As the source said, the orders were indeed placed anonymously, which several establishments confirmed. Giovanni’s Italian Deli in Secaucus, N.J., told the outlet that an anonymous individual placed an order for delivery to Hudson Regional Hospital. It included 40 platters of pasta, salads, and sandwiches.

“They only told us their first name,” a Giovanni’s employee told Fox News. “They called us, and they had us donate meals for the nurses and doctors – an assortment of things, 40 platters of pasta, salads, sandwiches. We’re happy to do it. Trust me.”

Turns out the president and his campaign is putting their money where their mouth is...

They are leading by example.

The president has called on all Americans, including our leaders, to put politics aside to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regardless of the political affiliation of the workers, hospitals, or restaurant owners, the Trump campaign is donating tens of thousands towards helping Americans.

That alone speaks louder than any campaign ad every could!
