We start off today with sad news for music fans, breaking just as I started working on this newsletter:

BREAKING: Dolly Parton Dead At Age 80

Anyone else remember that episode of The Orville where the woman alien from an alien race that doesn’t allow women somehow was born, survived, and then became obsessed with Dolly Parton’s poetry?

Man, The Orville was such a great show.  I really hope they will make a 4th season some day.  This is a high bar, but there are certain episodes which rival or even sometimes beat Star Trek: The Next Generation.

That’s right, I said it!

Moving on…
