It’s hard to fathom any mayor in America being worse than Bill de Blasio.
But in under two months, Eric Adams (D) has gone above and beyond to be a bigger clown and more idiotic mayor than his predecessor.
On Monday, the leftist NYC mayor fired 1,430 city employees who refused the COVID-19 injections.
The list included 36 police officers, 25 firemen, and 914 employees from the Department of Education.
These working-class New Yorkers are the heart & soul of The Big Apple, and Mayor Adams tossed them aside like they’re garbage.
Hard to believe someone could be worse than De Blasio.
But Eric Adams has done it. https://t.co/pPmNICBD1W

The New York Post reported:
At one point last week, officials estimated that 4,000 were on the chopping block.
The number then dropped to around 3,400 — and then to 1,430 firings, officials said.
In one category, there were 2,400 veteran employees on leave without pay who had not opted to extend their health insurance and had not provided proof of vaccination. In the end, 1,428 of those city workers failed to get shots and were fired.
Nearly 1,000 — or 40 percent — provided evidence of getting at least one shot at the 11th hour and returned to work, officials said.
Mayor Adams had the audacity to claim city workers who refused to take a Big Pharma medical experiment were quitting their jobs.
At a news conference on February 10 in the Bronx, Adams said, “I want them to stay, I want them to be employees of the city, but they have to follow the rules.”
He added that by choosing not to get vaccinated, the employees were essentially quitting because “everyone understood” the rules.
“We are not firing them,” he said. “People are quitting. The responsibility is clear.”
While 1,430 terminations have been confirmed so far, the Times reported on February 10 the city was poised to fire as many as 3,000 city employees. While the 3,000 people would make up less than one percent of New York City’s workforce, the Times report said their firing would still constitute “the largest worker reduction in the nation in response to a vaccine mandate.”
City workers gathered on February 11 to protest the firings, the New York Post reported. Cassey McFadden, who taught in New York schools for 25 years, then emerged from retirement to substitute teach amid the COVID-19 teacher shortage, told the Post the mandate and the city’s enforcement of it is “shameful.”
McFadden did not get the vaccine because she has severe allergies and is exercising caution but was all for the weekly testing alternative that the city stopped offering as an option. She told the Post she needed the extra substitute teaching money to “stay afloat.”
He’s a disgrace and plunging New York City into further decline.
Hopefully, New Yorkers see the light of these destructive fascist policies destroying their city.
